Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of http://thegoodness.lk and the inquiry form on it. They do not govern the supply of our products — those terms are set out in the commercial contract we sign with each customer.

1. About this site

This website is published by The Goodness Factory (Pvt) Ltd, a company incorporated in Sri Lanka. It is an informational site about our rice bran oil and our company. Nothing on it constitutes a binding offer to sell. Prices, lead times, and availability are confirmed only in a signed commercial contract.

2. Accuracy of information

We work hard to keep certifications, capacities, and product descriptions accurate. Specifications change. Always confirm critical figures (oryzanol content, free fatty acids, smoke point, batch certifications) against the Certificate of Analysis (COA) issued with the specific lot you are buying.

3. Use of the inquiry form

You agree to submit only information that is true and your own to share. Do not impersonate anyone, do not use the form for unsolicited marketing, and do not attempt to interfere with form delivery. We may decline to respond to inquiries we consider abusive, automated, or unrelated to our business.

4. Intellectual property

All text, photography, logos, and branding on this site are owned by The Goodness Factory (Pvt) Ltd or used with permission. You may share links to our pages freely. You may not copy our content wholesale, mirror the site, or use our branding to suggest a partnership that does not exist. Press, partners, and customers are welcome to use our logo in accurate contexts — write to us at info@thegoodnessfactory.lk first.

5. Links to other sites

We sometimes link to third-party sites (LinkedIn, WhatsApp, certification bodies, partner publications). We are not responsible for the content of those sites.

6. No warranties on the website itself

The website is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be free of bugs, that it will be available without interruption, or that every detail is current. Warranties on actual product quality are governed by your commercial contract and the relevant COA, not by this site.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Sri Lankan law, our liability arising from your use of the website is limited to direct losses and excludes indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example, liability for fraud or for matters governed by consumer-protection statutes).

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any dispute will be brought before the courts of Colombo.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version is effective when posted on this page. If we make material changes, we will note them clearly at the top of the page.
